Hippo Golf Open slated for April 20, 2007

The third annual Hutto Chamber of Commerce Hippo Open Golf Tournament will be held Friday, April 20 at the Golf Club at Star Ranch. Various contests will be held throughout the day, including hole-in-one, putting and longest drive contests. Don’t miss the chance be a part of this fabulous event. 2006 Hutto Business Showcase
The Hutto Chamber of Commerce held its first-ever Hutto Business Showcase on April 1, 2006, at the Exchange Center on Exchange Boulevard. Only Chamber members were eligible to participate by having a booth at the event. A $500 gift certificate for a Home Depot shopping spree was given away along with many other door prizes. The showcase featured activities such as photos with the "Easter Hippo" and face painting. Sign survey report

The Hutto Chamber of Commerce has completed its report that analyzes the results of sign surveys that were filled out by many of its members and returned to the Chamber in April. Members of a sign focus group will use the information as they draft recommendations that will be presented to the Hutto City Council. The committee also is spearheading efforts to put signage in key points that would direct people to various shopping districts around town. All of these efforts are directed toward making Hutto an even better place to do business.
